Raise3D announces new Pro3 series with Pro3 and Pro3 Plus 3D printers

U.S.-based 3D printer manufacturer Raise3D will launch two new 3D printers, the Pro3 3D printer series, in late 2021. Among other things, the two new models Pro3 and Pro3 Plus are suitable for small batch production and have features such as an intelligent assistant system EVE or an Air Flow Manager. We present the information known so far.
3D printing company Raise3D is launching what a press release says is a Pro3 series designed to meet the needs of small-batch production of final parts, tools, spare parts or other similar products. The Pro3 series consists of two dual-extruder 3D printers and builds on the Pro2 series introduced in 2018. Developers improved ease of use, ensured greater overall equipment effectiveness and industrial-grade repeatability.

Details on Raise3D’s Pro3 series

The Pro3 offers a build volume of 300 x 300 x 300 mm and the Pro3 Plus has a build volume of 300 x 300 x 605 mm. According to Raise3D, it is suitable for small batch production, among other applications. In terms of materials, both 3D printers can work with any filament that extrudes up to 300℃. These include PLA, ABS, HIPS, PC, TPU, TPE, NYLON, PETG, ASA, PP, PVA, fiberglass-reinforced, carbon-fiber-reinforced, metal-filled, wood-filled and other materials.

Both 3D printers support Raise3D filaments and third-party filaments approved under the Open Filament Program. The devices can also be integrated into existing production environments. Raise3D’s 3D printing software ecosystem helps in this endeavor. It consists of ideaMaker slicing software, ideaMaker open software template library and RaiseCloud print management software. A few days ago, Raise3D introduced an update to its slicing software.

Independent modular extruders with dual extrusion structures allow the Pro3 series to work with many filaments. For those who frequently switch between abrasive and non-abrasive materials, the hotend system, which is interchangeable via a straightforward click-and-lock mechanism, is ideal. The Pro3 series also offers automatic bed leveling.

Air Flow Manager and EVE

The Air Flow Manager improves heat dissipation and air circulation and creates a stable environment in the print chamber. The Air Flow Manager is equipped with a HEPA air filter and cleans and filters the air in the chamber. The integrated EVE intelligent wizard system helps the user locate and correct problems that may affect the print job. EVE analyzes printer usage and reminds users of scheduled interventions such as maintenance and the like. With this feature, Raise3D aims to improve the user experience of professional 3D printers. The Pro3 series is scheduled for release at the end of 2021. With a subscription to our newsletter, you won’t miss any news about these and other 3D printers and topics.
