CNN’s Fareed Zakaria interviews MIT’s Neil Gershenfeld on the future of digital fabrication

There are a lot of clips from TV shows we could publish on these pages, but most of them aren’t going to do much for you. But today I thought I’d share a clip that’s pretty good, mostly because of who is being interviewed.

On a recent airing of CNN’s GPS show, host Fareed Zakaria discusses the future of 3D printing and digital fabrication with MIT’s Neil Gershenfeld, in a segment called “Future of digital fabrication.”

In case you don’t know who Neil Gershenfeld is, he’s the Director of The Center for Bits and Atoms, and the originator of the growing global network of fab labs, that provide widespread access to prototype tools (starring the 3D printer) for personal fabrication.
