We get a lot of questions at 3Dprinter.net by people wondering how they should proceed in getting trained to work in the 3D printing industry.  It's a big question as not everyone has the time to go to a university and get an engineering degree. Many of the questions are from people already in the workforce doing something unrelated.

So, I'd love to hear opinions on how people can train themselves to at least get their foot in the door and then go from there.
