I'm a believer in the patent system, but not in the present day form where just about everything seems to be getting a patent. Now comes someone trying patent 3D printing chocolate!  As a lawyer in the following article says, "“If you let people get patents on every material that has those properties, you’re going to occupy 3D printing.” Absolutely.
