NPR reports on 3D Printing

3D printing seems to be on the lips of most mainstream news sources lately. One of the latest to show their excitement over 3D printers is America’s government-subsidized news network, NPR.

The report focuses on the consumer end of the technology. Reporter Jon Kalish weaves the tale of 3D printing by including soundbites from Shaan Hurley of Autodesk, Duann Scott of Shapeways, Richard Borrett of Ponoko and Tiago Rorke of SketchChair.
