Panel discussion on 3D printing at DLD 2013

Sometimes the best way to learn about something is to sit back and listen to some really smart people talk to each other on a subject. And now you have to the opportunity to listen in on three movers and shakers in the 3D printing world who spoke for 45 minutes in a recent panel discussion at the DLD 2013 conference.

Talk about movers and shakers. On the panel are Peter Weijmarshausen of Shapeways, Ingo Ederer of Voxeljet, Erik e Bruijn of Ultimaker and Pablos Holman of Intellectual Ventures Lab. It’s 45 minutes well-spent, and includes several videos the panelists brought with them.

If you haven’t heard of DLD, it stands or Digital-Life-Design. It’s a global network “focused on innovation, digitalization, science and culture which connects business, creative and social leaders, opinion-formers and influencer’s for crossover conversation and inspiration.”

At DLD 2013 over 150 speakers and 800 attendees came together in Munich, Germany on January 20-22. To be honest, I hadn’t heard of this group before noticing it this week. I watched a few of the videos they have available on the site and found them quite interesting. I’ll be following DLD and recommend that you do too.
