We have already frequently reported on objects made with the flagship from 3D printer manufacturer MASSIVit 3D, the Massivit 1800. Now, the company has unveiled its follow-up model, the Massivit 1800 Pro, at APPPEXPO 2019 in Shanghai, according to a press release from MASSIVit 3D.
Details of the Massivit 1800 Pro
During the printing process, it is possible to change the printing mode (with resolution mode and layer thickness) so that different requirements are covered depending on the model section. The Massivit 1800 Pro offers variable resolution, which can be set in advance via the associated Massivit SMART Pro software. The “Mega Quality” resolution mode makes it possible to print large objects faster, while optimizing gel consumption in addition to printing time. This reduces production costs.
Facilitated maintenance
The system can be controlled via tablet and can thus also be monitored. A direct connection to the support team helps in case of problems. Adjustable priorities and automated procedures triggered by captured data facilitate maintenance.
The Massivit 1800 Pro can be used to create outdoor advertising elements, displays, sculptures and more in large format. Fast, at high resolution, and easily reproducible.
